Barista Kats was founded by Leonor Ramirez, whose path to coffee began in the world of classical music.
After studying piano at The Juilliard School in Manhattan, Leonor brought the same discipline, precision and attention to detail into the coffee industry.
Since 2015, Barista Kats has grown into a trusted mobile espresso service serving conferences, corporate events and brand activations with a focus on consistency, professionalism and seamless execution.
Nina Rodriguez
Co-Owner and Grammy Award-winning Percussionist, Musician, National Rhythm Facilitator
Every business starts with a dream. Nina’s journey is rooted in rhythm, connection and the power of bringing people together through shared experience.
Nina travels the United States facilitating and performing with Drum Cafe North America and Drum Cafe USA, along with her collaboration Nina & The Gypsies. She is a sought-after session musician and certified facilitator of interactive rhythm events, working with clients such as Microsoft, Google, PwC and Amazon. Nina is endorsed by Toca Percussion and LP Music.
We proudly serve events across San Antonio and beyond, bringing a reliable, high-quality espresso experience to every setting.
The Heart Behind Barista Kats

Leonor’s passion extends beyond coffee and events. Inspired by her beloved Lola, she developed a deep connection to animals that are often misunderstood, while remaining committed to the care and protection of all animals. Though Lola is no longer with us, she left behind a lasting legacy that continues to guide this mission.

Through Operation Lola, we raise awareness and support for animals in need. What began as a personal journey through adoption has grown into a mission rooted in compassion, second chances and advocacy.
